Our Mission

Built To Be is committed to equipping individuals and families to discover all God has designed you to be, to find your place in making your portion of the planet a better place.

We were each called to be great things - friends, parents, teachers, world changers. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” 

Through writing, teaching and engaging, Built To Be is dedicated to helping you uncover the good works God prepared ahead of time for you to pursue.

Our Founders

Akeem Williams

Akeem is a web developer and a family man. He's passionate about using the intersection of faith and technology to reach a gadget-savvy generation with the love of God.

His very first job opened his eyes to the ministry of technology. At 15 he was hired to supervise a computer lab at a Christian community center. It was there that he realized the power of technology in bridging socioeconomic gaps and bringing communities together.

Now Akeem seeks ways to combine his God-given gifts of design, web development, and teaching to share the gospel.

Jasmine Williams

Jasmine leads Built to Be alongside Akeem and is passionate about strengthening families to grow closer to God.

As a homeschooling mom of four, pursuing her M.A. in biblical studies, she is immersed in education. Jasmine loves teaching the foundations of Christianity to equip the Church to reach the world.

She's an emerging speaker seeking to rekindle a fire for God in the homes of believers as we raise up the next generation.

Our Beliefs

We believe that there is only one God, who is omnipotent, omnipresent and eternally existent as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that He entered fleshly form through virgin birth as Jesus Christ and died for the ultimate atonement of each of our sins. We believe that He was resurrected and that He rose and rejoined God in Heaven.

We believe salvation is a free gift that comes through belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for us to be reconciled to God. We believe mankind is called to repentance of sin and to live a life according to God's principles. 

We believe the Bible is the ultimate and fundamental book of Christianity, inerrant and complete.

We believe in the second coming of Christ.
